Beschreibung
Non surgical periodontal therapy includes methods that treat periodontal lesions without invasive or surgical means. It comprises of methods like scaling and root planing, host modulation, systemic and local drug delivery. Newer methods such as LASERS, Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Photodynamic therapy, Ozone therapy etc warrant furthur research and can prove to be the future of non surgical periodontal therapy.
