This book provides complete basic information as well as latest advancements in periodontal instruments in print form. It also provides various beneficial ways for the practitioner to treat the patients.knowledge of instrument design enables the clinician to select proper instrument for the procedure and correct area in which it will be used. The aim of this dissertation is to discuss various types of instruments which are used for an effective periodontal debridement, the proper technique of using these instruments as well as asic principles which are to be followed while periodontal instrumentation, so that goal of periodontal debridement is achieved with maximal efficacy of the clinician and minimal injury to the periodontal tissues.

I am pursuing my post graduation in dentistry with specialization in the field of periodontics at prestigious Institute guru nanak dev dental college and research institute Sunam, India. I am involved in the research work along with clinical practice of surgical periodontics.
