A dentist should eliminate the disease first and then eliminate existingthe lesions as much as possible through remineralization procedure. Only minimal intervention is required to stabilize and heal an initialcarious lesion; this approach will lead to an excellent retention of natural toothstructure, maintaining both strength and esthetic.All efforts should be made to preserve a maximum amount of soundtooth structure.
