The Dental Aesthetic Index(DAI) is discussed in detail in this monograph.This DAI is used to measure the malocclusion and orthodontic treatment needs.This DAI index can also be used as a practical tool for epidemiologists and dental personnel for screening orthodontic treatment need and to assess the prevalence of malocclusion categories.
