Beschreibung
The basic concept of interceptive orthodontic procedures is that interferences with the development of the dentition can lead to malocclusion. The interceptive and preventive orthodontic procedures enable the clinician to treat and / or make a developing malocclusion less severe so as to allow the corrective orthodontist to deliver a stable and more conservative (non-extraction) treatment plan benefiting the patient.
