This book elaborates about various quality control parameters (physiochemical properties) as well as biological screening of antifungal drug preparations. The simple test procedure (physiochemical parameters) to ensure the quality of herbal drugs or based preparation is still a challenge. The extracts of marketed capsules were tested for phytochemical quality control parameters as well as for their antifungal activity. Therefore, present work is an attempt in this direction so that researchers working in areas of pharmaceutical sector particularly in herbal drug industry can adopt simple test procedure to ensure quality of the product effectively.

Prof. Anil kumar is one of young pharmacologists who is actively working in diverse areas particularly neuropharmacology, psychiatric problems and metabolic diseases. Prof. Kumar has rich experience of guiding several postgraduates and postgraduates thesis. Prof. Kumar has significantly contributed in the the above field of neuropharmacology.
