The book examines the various juristic views of Muslim thinkers on human anatomy with particular reference to organ transplant, donation and sales. This book affords Muslim Medical practitioners as well as the general Muslim readers to get familiar with the medical and Islamic juristic view on organ transplant. This will help them to obtain clarity of vision in the profession, and equally the discourse will stir the scholars to rise up to the challenges posed to us by modernization ( or rather westernization).It will serve as a means of creating Islamic legal awareness for deeper study especially in the case of organ transplant. The legal views expressed herein are expected to stimulating thought and also in generating a forum for more intensive minds to work out on these opinions for the challenging age.

Adam Adebayo Sirajudeen has taught Arabic Language & Literature in the Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies, Kogi State University, Anyigba-Nigeria. He holds B.A. Honours, M.A and PhD Arabic from the Universities of Ilorin, Ahmadu Bello University and University of Jos, Nigeria with interest in Afro-Arabic Literary History & Historiography.
