Beschreibung
Nursing is known to be physically demanding, with long hours and overtime a common expectation in providing care to a number of patients with minimal resources.Sometimes poorly designed delivery systems or working environments seen in most of the developing nations like Kenya do not improve this situation. This means that most of the nurses energy is spent up by the end of their shift leaving very little energy for their families especially their childrens education engagements. This book recommends that in-order to achieve improvement in nurses productivity and sustainability of their children academic performance, their working hours, shifts and working days should be re-adjusted or be made flexible to create more time for them to attend to their childrens needs.
