Sickle cell disease is the most common genetic disease in Africa. Sickle cell disease sufferers are subject to several problems including digestive pathologies, bone infections and especially vasooclusive attacks strongly linked to the season.The first part is devoted to Digestive pathologies associated with drepanocytosis in Lubumbashi, the second part is devoted to the impact of the season on the occurrence of vasooclusive attacks in drepanocytic patients while the last part speaks about osteoarticular infections in drepanocytic patients.
