There are various root canal irrigants and intracanal medicaments advocated for root canal therapy. They are widely used in pulp therapy of pediatric patient to prevent premature exfoliation of primary teeth. No irrigants and intracanal medicaments meet all the requirements of an ideal irrigant and intracanal medicament, thus this book offers a classification of such in order to help a practitioner in his choice.

Dr Ganesh Jeevanandan completed his Master's degree (MDS) in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry in 2014 from Meenakshi University. Currently working as Senior lecturer, Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, he invented Kedo-S an exclusive rotary file for root canal preparation in primary teeth.
