Autoimmune diseases can overlap easily and produce combined symptoms and signs in the same patient that make their diagnosis and management challenges. IBD and SLE can occur in the same patient with similar intestinal manifestations, thus make their diagnosis challenging. This systematic review has talked about that and collect all the available published studies all over the world regarding this association in a meta-analysis view. In addition, further studies should be done more and more to detect this rare and important association and take care about their medications also as regard Drug-induced lupus and lupus-like syndrome.
