Beschreibung

This work explain a new pharmaceutical composition for the use of cutaneous ulcers. Liquid sevoflurane instillations are being used directly on the ulcer. In many cases, patients have duration of analgesic effect of few hours (from 2 hours to 8 hours). The direct exposition of sevoflurane for a long time, can be dangerous (very common, headache). The only adverse effect described sevoflurane topic is skin irritation when the anesthetic contact with healthy skin, with this new controlled release system can be avoided perfectly that the anesthetic contact with healthy skin. These three major limitations run out with this new pharmaceutical composition. Sevoflurane microspheres can be made with the aim of releasing drug in a controlled and progressive manner, controlling the patient's pain for up to 48-72 hours, without the need for a continuous change of dressing. On the other hand, being encapsulated sevoflurane, this prevents an environmental contamination that affects both the professional who applies it and the patient. And achieving a progressive improvement in the healing of ulcers without adverse effects associated.
