The book deals with Thermoelastic behavior of various metal structures of different geometry which includes rectangular, circular, spherical and hollow cylindrical,thin annular shapes. By application of various mathematical tools the thermal stresses ,thermal strain and thermal displacements for these structures have been discussed. Both the Direct problems and the Inverse problems of Thermoelasticity are described in this book. The data and the mathematical approach in this book will be helpful from the design point of view of heavy machinery and large engineering structures.The topics discussed here may be helpful in manufacturing materials with large stress bearing abilities.
