The concept of thermoelasticity which forms the central theme of this book, is gaining popularity as a field of research, and finds vast applications in space science and engineering field, specially the heavy engineering field. Thermoelastic behavior of different geometric structures are discussed in depth with respect to the thermal displacement, thermal stresses and strain. The book deals with direct and inverse thermoelastic problems of different geometric bodies subjected to heating. Mathematical approach for thermoelastic problems may be of immense help for those students, researchers and teachers pursuing work on thermoelasticity.

Khobragade: M.Sc(Stat.), M.Sc(Math.), M.B.A., Ph.D.Department of Mathematics, R.T.M.Nagpur University, Nagpur. 22 students have been awarded Doctorate Degree under his supervision. He has more than 200 research publications in international journals.
