Since the very existence of mankind is essentially based on fluids, namely air and water, it becomes an obvious challenge for scientists and engineers to discover more and more about fluids. Fluids are generally classified into two types: liquids and gases. The innumerous applications of fluid mechanics make it one of the most fundamental fields of engineering and applied science. It is indeed difficult to think of any modern scientific device which doesnt have some fluid hidden in it somewhere and some fluid mechanics behind its design. The numerical method play vital role for the solution of such physical problem. In this book an attempt is taken to solve some physical problem using finite difference method.

Dr S.Kapoor, working as a Assistant Professor of Mathematics in Regional Institute of Education(NCERT), Bhubnaeswar. He completed his Ph.D in Mathematics from IIT Roorkee in the filed of CFD. Dr R.Gupta is recently completed her Ph.D from IFTM University, Moradabad in the field of fluid Dynamics.
