Data Security is protecting a database from destructive forces and the unwanted actions of unauthorized users. Data security ensures privacy while protecting personal or corporate data. Data could be anything of interest that can be read or otherwise interpreted in human form. The unauthorized access of this data could lead to numerous problems for the larger corporation or even the personal home user. The issue of data leakage has always arisen from data at rest, data in transit, email, IM and various other internet channels, now with the rise of mobile technology, data leakage is occurring with greater ease, whether by accident or malice. In this book, data leakage detection method is analyzed and it provides a model for assessing the guilt of leaker by adding fake objects to the sensitive data.

P.Amudha has graduated B.E in CSE and M.Tech in IT. She obtained her Ph.D from Anna University. She has 19 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience in the field of Computer Science. She has published many papers in the Nat/Intl journals and conferences. She is a life member of ISTE, Associate member of CSI and IAENG.
