This book constitutes the proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on Perspectives in Business Informatics Research, BIR 2023, which took place in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, in September 2023. The 20 full and 4 short papers included in these proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from 57 submissions.
