The book discuss various techniques of image processing such as, use of Filters for removal of noise, Histogram Equalization for viewing the darker area of the digital image, Colour Adjustment and Edge Detection methodology in detail fro for feature extraction and pattern recognition.

Associated with Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Kolkata as Forensic Analyst.He has contributed articles in various National and International Journals.
