This book attempts to cover the basic aspects of the electrical resistivity techniques. It includes a short introduction to electrical resistivity method and trying to provide a brief summary of the past and ongoing development for the techniques of this method. Presentation of the resistivity method is started always with the basic theoretical background, field measurement procedures, data processing, and interpretation, for one or more of the techniques of this method. Therefore, this book designed to cover all resistivity techniques with the most important studies that led to the development of these technologies and their applications.

Ahmed Srdah Kadhem Al-Zubedi (BSc. In Geology from Baghdad University, Iraq. MSc. and PhD. in geophysical from Baghdad University) is an author of a number of scientific papers dealing with geophysical subjects. Currently working as Geophysicist in General Commission for Groundwater, Ministry of Water Resources- Iraq.
