This book is aimed at providing insight to the students and researchers working in the field inorganic chemistry. It helps them to analyze the behavior of organometallic compounds under environmental conditions. With the growing use of tin in various industries their accumulation in environment becomes inevitable. Organotin (IV) compounds are widely used as PVC stabilizers, fungicides, wood and stone preservatives, surface disinfectants, antifouling agents in paints for ships and glass coating operations. Di and trimethyltin compounds have high mammalian toxicity and their solubilty in water makes them very dangerous for aquatic living organisms. This book basically conclude the speciation study of Organotin compounds with biologically important ligands ( amino acids, carboxylic acids and catecholic ligands ). Apart from the field of medicine and biology the book also develop interest in the field of environmental chemistry.

Dr. Renu Ahuja Ph.D chemistry working as professor at Jiwaji University, Gwalior. she had guided 7 students for Ph.D thesis. Both had published number of research papers in the field of chemistry
