Beschreibung
Mushroom cultivation considered as a field of mushroom biotechnology and consists of a series of independent states like a serial process, such optimizing condition for mushroom cultivation processes, including the production of pure mycelium, spawn and matures mushroom production, and testing different parameters such nutritional, chemical and physical conditions. Mushrooms have been widely used as food or food ingredients in many food products for a long time. Some edible mushrooms have been used for their medicinal properties in serving as antitumor, antifungal and reducing hypercholesterolemia activities.

Saman Mohammed Mohammed-Amin, born in Kalar, Iraqi Kurdistan Region 1977 obtained his Ph.D in Biotechnology. He was a lecturer in Department of Biology, College of Education, University of Garmian. Currently works as vice dean in the College of Education.
