Sulfur Recovery is widely used method in oil and gas refineries due to environmental issue accompanied with acid gas release to atmosphere. According to its significant importance in industry, several technologies were adopted which the clear description and understanding of their basics were necessary. The modified Claus process is one of the most utilized process for this purpose. The chemistry, kinetic, modeling and optimization are principal studies which examined for the modified Claus process.
