Beschreibung
This book provides a pattern for effective EFL teaching in the Iranian context and deals with the peculiarities that might lead to failure in language teaching in case the language teacher does not attend to them. A number of constituents are brought that present the criteria for effective EFL teaching. The context-specific information helps the EFL teacher to consider the differences resulting from the Iranian context and culture. Paying attention to these criteria increases the chances of success in EFL teaching in Iran.

Saman Khaksefidi is an M.A. graduate of Shiraz University in TEFL. He has spent three years of his life in an English speaking country, Nigeria. His areas of interest include teacher effectiveness, teacher evaluation, language assessment, and corpus linguistics. He is currently a faculty member of Higher Educational Complex of Saravan.
