For example, apart from affecting all type of agricultural products, droughts and floods are also responsible for loss of human lives and property. Late or prolong monsoon break may have catastrophic effects. Therefore, a sound understanding of intra-seasonal and inter-annual variability of rainfall climatology may have implications for profitability in crop production. The present book is based on a study conducted on rainfall variability and probability analysis of previous 34years rainfall data (1980-2013) with the prime objective for prediction of annual rainfall, of Allahabad district.
