Nowadays the increasing demand for Oil and gas emphasizes on a need to pay attention to unexplored regions. Seismic data interpretation in Central Indus Basin helps in gaining understanding of subsurface structures for hydrocarbon exploration. It deals with demarcation of potential leads by delineating suitable structures like truncations, stratigraphic traps, folds, faults etc. To fulfill this purpose one should have a clear view of regional subsurface picture. This book provides a detailed understanding of structural and stratigraphic interpretation.

Dr. Shazia Asim has been working in a Geophysical environment since 1996. After working as a Seismic data Processing Geophysicist in CGG. She joined Quaid-i-Azam University in 1998. She has published many papers on Seismic Interpretation, Attribute, Inversion. Currently the author is conducting Post Doc Research in China University of Geosciences.
