Soil and water are the two important natural resources. Due to various socio-economic-politico-demographic reasons, the mismanagement and misuse of the natural resources have intensified in recent times, leading to degradation, denudation and destruction of natural resources and with proper management of natural resources, viz., land, water and vegetation can reverse the process. Proper mechanical and vegetative structure can help to conserve the rainwater in-situ and provide the quite essential moisture for crop growth.
