Beschreibung
Transition metals are known to form Schiff's base complexes and Schiff's bases have often been used as chelating ligands in the field of coordination chemistry. Their metal complexes have been of great interest for many years. It is well known that N, O and S atoms play a key role in the coordination of metals at the active sites of numerous metallo-biomolecules. Schiff's base metal complexes have been widely studied because they have industrial, antifungal, antibacterial, anticancer, antiviral and herbicidal applications.
