The present book tries to look at the use of hedges in academic articles from different angles considering native and non-native writers. As using hesitation in presenting the results to a special community is a crucial factor, the way of utilizing hedges becomes the researchers' requirement. Therefore, analyzing the style of native authors' in different disciplines is a demanding case these days. The author of this book hopes that the findings can add some points to the literature.
Autorenporträt
The author is PhD candidate in TEFL at Ataturk University, Turkey. He got his MA from Tabriz Azad University, Iran. He is lecturing at Payam-e-Noor University in Salmas. His main research interests include genre analysis, contrastive rhetoric, pragmatics, metadiscourse, cross-cultural differences in academic writing, and material evaluation.
