Beschreibung

This book deals with deriving the properties of the microporous silica membranes from first principles and also investigates the feasibility of application of the currently available silica membranes in separation of carbon dioxide in IGCC process. Separation of multicomponent gas mixtures in membranes is also reviewed in this work and shortcut methods are provided for different flow configurations.

Autorenporträt

Sina Deyhim is a Process Engineer with six years of experience in design and development of chemical process. The author received his Master of Applied Science degree from university of Ottawa in 2014, and the focus of his was on characterization of microporous silica membranes and also the simulation of gas separation in membranes.
