For many years, parents, teachers and researchers have shown concern on the increasing drop in students' academic performance which was associated to the recurrent use of mobile devices for social media chats. Parents have even started to seize mobile devices from the hands of their children. The essence of writing this book was to pass a message to the parents and teachers that, mobile devices if used effectively can facilitate active student's learning. Mobile instructional Apps that are directly related to the content students are expected to cover play a significant role. Avenues through which mobile devices together with App can be used to effectively facilitate learning for an improved academic performance have been clearly spelt out in this book. The book can also be of help to researchers who want to carry out research on the effects of mobile technologies on students' academic performance at all levels of education.
