Moral philosophy, modernisation and thought development are issues of high importance to social scientists, political scientists, educators and educationists, and of course those in development studies, community development and psychology. Because the three issues (of moral philosophy, modernisation and thought development) tells about what moral, changes in socialisation, individual thinking pattern and the factors that influence the thinking pattern and perception of the individual are. And the Knowledge of these three concepts equips people with a looking glass of what makes people what they are and what makes them good, with better quality of life. Therefore, this book is a collection of some research papers by the author on the these subject matters for the readers to have a pool in which they can have a better understanding of these concepts, for better practice in their respective but interconnected, related and intertwined disciplines and specialisation.

My name is Nura Ibrahim Mukhtar, am a seasoned teacher and an academic, born in the ancient city of Kano in Kano State, Nigeria. I am into teaching and research for over fifteen years. My research interest includes moral philosophy, modernisation, community mobilization, participation and Islamic community development practices.
