In preliminary presumption of quality of academic teachersin Malaysia priorlypresumes that all teachers are competence in teaching based on the degree of qualification.Supported by local researchshows that somes teachers might still uses of traditional lectures methods in teaching that makes students passive and hinder them from mastering soft skills in higher order thinking. Teachers should be more creative by applying centered learning as the latest method in 21st century. This study is a benchmark for four proposed constructs; student academic performance, teacher competence in teaching and holistic-centered learning. Therefore, this study suggests a integration of two learning models, Multi intelligent model by Howard Gardner (1983) and Memletic Learning Styles model by Whitley (2003) as Holistic-centered Learning (HCL) during the classroom teaching and learning process. This study analysed the level of teacher teaching competence (TC) in planning practices, developing lesson plan.Quantitative methods SEM AMOS involve descriptive design and correlation study to determine the effects of variables and proposed mediators using the Holistic centered-learning model.
