NANDINI CHATTERJEE has studied at universities in India, the Netherlands and the UK, completing her PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK. She was Lecturer in South Asian History at Cambridge 2004-05, and held the British Academy Postdoctoral fellowship at King's College London, 2008-09. She is currently Lecturer in History at the University of Plymouth, UK.
