The concept of absolute liability has been evolved from India and as time passed been accepted in various cases. this noble idea of the doctrine served the purpose of progressive nations like India where rapid industrialization has taken place. The fundamental aim of this doctrine is to examine the necessity of specific legislation relating to absolute liability. While speaking of liability provisions for nuclear damage operators of nuclear plant are liable for any damage regardless of fault based upon the principle of absolute liability.
