Despite access to scientific management techniques, these disasters continue to strike even the technologically most advanced countries of the world with no immunity.The October 8th Earthquake affecting different parts of Pakistan, is considered to be one of the most horrific of all the recent disasters.Above in perspective, carry out an in-depth study of the subject of disaster management in Pakistan with special emphasis on the inadequacies of present system to proffer viable recommendations to improve response at the national level.
