This book deals with the management of the inventory. Structured in four chapters. The first one is a conceptual framework of inventory management (types of inventories, inventory policies, inventory management models,.). The second one treats raw material pricing (FIFO, LIFO, HIFO and WAC) in addition of evoking the reasons for the choosing one of these methods. The last two chapters are reserved respectively for (1) stock control and analysis of variance (MPV and MQV) and (2) the reasons and tools of computerisation of inventory management by referring to a free online management system.
