Public procurement remains as the most lucrative area through which government strategies to develop a formidable economy can be anchored. That notwithstanding, many public procuring entities continue to fable with how best they can plan and operationalize successful procurement systems. Equally, many scholars and learners have been subjected to fragmented literature on public procurement to the extent of being left in a dilemma on where they can conduct literature supported research on public procurement. This dilemma confronts the entire academia as well. In order to address the gap, this book seeks to avail a well-documented source of reference material for all categories of interested parties in the field of supply chain management.
