Due to unprecedented development in the economies world over. HRD Practices in Hotel Industry receiving greater attention of hospitality industry. The hotel industry alone is a multi-billion dollar and growing enterprise. The hotel industry is diverse enough for people to work in different areas of interest and skill be employed within the hotel industry. This trend is not just in India, but also globally. The whole concept of this book is based on my research and administrative experience. Much of the information, ideas and knowledge incorporated have been acquired during the last 10 years of my experience, research studies and visits to many hotels of different categories varying from traditional Indian hotels to modern deluxe hotels of international repute.

Dr. V. Mahesha is currently working as Assistant Professor and Chairman in the Department of Studies in Commerce, Karnataka State Open University, Muktagangotri, Mysuru. Mahesha V. had his early education in different institutions in Shivamogga District. He took his M.Com., Degree in 2008 from the Kuvempu University.
