The travel and tourism industries are expected to grow by an average of 4% annually over the next 10 years, which would take it from 9% today to 10% of the Worlds Gross Domestic Product (GDP). A company must have a purpose beyond simply enriching shareholders, and the hotel industry has the opportunity to make a huge impact globally both socially and environmentally.
