This book reviews and summarizes insights from economic and monetary literature, news articles and think tank reports. It starts with a review of the main monetary policy theories. Goes through the train of events that spurred the ECB's decision to implement QE in Europe. Follows the ECB's QE measures until the summer of 2016. And then finally takes a look at the main economic and financial indicators in order to see how effective QE has been.
