Water is vital to man's existence on the planet earth so all effort to secure a good water should not be spared. Aquifer is a home of water in the earth crust which is properly located using geophysical means of vertical electrical sounding. Understanding the properties of aquifer is tantamount to understanding how good the the water in the aquifer is.The book therefore has delved into studying the properties of aquifer using the parameters of electrical properties of the earth.

Abraham Musa Zira is a graduate of Federal University of Technology, Yola Adamawa State (B.Tech(Hons.) Physics, M. Tech. Geophysics). He has taught physics at Federal Government College Daura and Head of Physics Department from 1993-1995 of the same college. He has been a Physics lecturer at Federal College of Education Potiskum to date.
