Vertical root fracture (VRF) is a considerable threat to the tooths prognosis during and after root canal treatment. VRF presents a challenge to the clinician because the diagnosis is often difficult and is based on subjective parameters. This book describes the complete review about the etiology, clinical and radiographic features as well as various diagnostic tests including latest aids and technologies used in diagnosis. It also encompasses various case reports and newer treatment modalities which will help the clinician to understand and deal with such fractures in a routine clinical practice.
