This book is a research submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master's in Education in International Management and Policy at the British University in Dubai in in 2012. The author is trying to draw attention to the danger of mastering a foreign language at the expense of the mother tongue. A visible decline in Arabic language proficiency has been noticed among many young native Arabic learners who study at international schools in some parts of the Arab world. The book discusses the factors behind the decline in Arabic language proficiency from different angles and points out some valid recommendations.

She lived and worked in Kuwait, Jordan, Canada, UAE, and KSA.She worked as a University Language Instructor, Educational Trainer, ESL Teacher, Arabic Teacher, Classroom Teacher, SEN Teacher, Student Mentor and Educational Middle Manager.
