Beschreibung
Establishing a system in wide global time base is of utmost importance in the design of distributed real time systems. Particularly in hard real time systems, where correct operation is necessary in terms of time domain, to prevent catastrophic failures, every site of the system must have an equal view of time. This necessitates the synchronization of the local clocks to a system wide global time base.
