The purpose of the present investigation was to study Awareness of Environmental Pollution among the higher Secondary students. Based on this study can develop the innovative ideas in the field of education and findings of the study can serve as a distinguished database for further research. The objectives of the scheme are achieved through the implementation of four programmes namely National Green Corps, National Environment Awareness Campaign, Seminars/Workshops and National Nature Camping Programme.

He is presently working as a Associate Professor of Education, Siga College of Education, Vilupuram - 605 601. He is a Doctorate in Education with M.Sc., (Chemistry & Psychology), and M.A., (Philosophy, Culture and Religion). He has acted as Resource Person, Session chaired person and Attended Workshops, Seminars, Conferences.
