In Nigeria, despite exposure to Higher Education (HE) there is increasing mass unemployment of youths. This paper uses the globalization theory to fashion the path for poverty eradication. The research involves a study of the curriculum in Art departments of reputable universities outside the shores of Nigeria in comparison to the curricula of Art at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun (TASUED), and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho. TASUED and LAUTECH are chosen because of their unique focus; one on education and the other on technology.
