Orientation and Mobility book describes the nature, scope of orientation and mobility as also the orientation and mobility related responsibilities of the special teacher. Acquire basic knowledge of human guide techniques. Describe pre-cane and cane travel skills and devices. Movement with independence in the environment has been stated to be one of the major challenges of vision loss. It is necessary to provide students with visual impairment skills and techniques which enable them to cope with these challenges. It would also enable them to get insights into basic skills and components essential for meaningful orientation, easy and graceful movement for the visually impaired. Through this book the student - teachers would be in a better position to understand the implications of vision loss with reference to independent movement.

She obtained her Master's Degree in Botany (M.Sc-Botany, M.Sc-Psychology, M.A-English) from Andhra University, and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, India. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Botany, Zoology & Computers.
