This book could be found useful in the subject of Voltage Stability, FACTS devices and the applicability of FACTS devices in Power System networks. It describes various models of FACTS devices and aptly presents models of FACTS devices that improve the voltage stability of Power System networks.Typically, Nigerian Power System network was considered as a case study which results were compared with the benchmark results obtained from IEEE 14-bus Power network. The analysis and simulation carried out with Power System Analysis Toolbox (PSAT) in MATLAB environment underscore the intricacies involved in the instability of any Power System network. Therefore, PSAT is extensively used for analysis and simulation in this book.
