Communicating Renewable Energy Scene in Uganda is a simple book with 6 short chapters which are made up of topical policy and research issues in the contemporary African countries like Uganda since mid-1980s. The publication highlights the supply, demand, and management issues and options as well as the technology transfer, investment financing, and the energy efficiency. The following table of contents describe the six chapters of the book: Chapter 1: Issues and Options in the Energy Scene in Uganda Chapter 2: Research Development Ideas in Renewable Energy Chapter 3: Prospects of Cooperation in New and Renewable Energy Resources Chapter 4: Community Adoption of Efficient Biomass Energy Technology Options Chapter 5: Public Awareness of Basic Energy Efficiency Issues and Options Chapter 6: Excerpts from the National Renewable Energy Policy for Uganda This book presents the need for clean energy technology awareness, diffusion, and practice for sustainable energy security, national and international collaborative research, North-South cooperation, policy, and public education; effective renewable policy institutions, and ICT deployment, and stakeholders' coordination.

Wilson Okaka is a Ugandan Journalism and Communication professional trained in Uganda, UK, Italy, Sweden, and USA. He has published books, book chapters, and peer reviewed articles. Prof. Okaka is a member of many scientific and education networks. He has been to African, Asian, American, Middle East, and European countries.
