One of the crucial translation roles is the widespread usage in childrens literature. There are a lot of outstanding translation works which concerned in childrens literature that are done in entire world. As for the various translation goals and different target language address, the source text can be translated to several practices in target language, especially with regards to extratextual and intratextual factors and tools.Hence, investigating extratextual and intratextual factors in source and target oriented approaches are the latest and the most developed translation theories and moreover one of the most suitable approaches towards executing the act of translation of books in such genres. The present book is a kind of new approach to literary text. However, the purpose of this descriptive, comparative and qualitative book is to investigate the extratextual and intratextual factors in the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for translation of these factors from English to Persian on the basis of Nord's Model.

Mohammadreza Rast obtained his M.A degree in English Teaching from Islamic Azad University of Lahijan, Iran. He is TEFL PhD student of Islamic Azad University of Varamin, Iran now. Zahra Karimi Khoshhal obtained her M.A degree in Translation Studies from Islamic Azad University of Science and Research branch with distinction.
